About Marv's Dogs DC
Marv’s Dogs, created by Diane Gross and Khalid Pitts is a fun, nostalgic hot dog “joint” in D.C.’s Tenleytown neighborhood. Marv’s Dogs is unlike any concept currently in D.C. and pays homage to the classics – Chicago Dogs, hand-cut fries and delicious soft serv ice cream – while modernizing flavors and creating some new treats along the way. This fast-casual concept serves delicious food along with beer and wine so it will cater to school kids, families, hot dog fans and sports leagues (young and old) playing at neighborhood parks.
Origin Story
The Marv’s Dogs concept is the brainchild of Diane Gross who spent many Saturdays in her childhood eating hot dogs and playing video games with her father Marvin at their neighborhood hot dog joint in Los Angeles. Marv’s Dogs is named after him as a special tribute to their time together and those fond memories of chilling out with her dad over a Chicago dog, fries and an orange soda.
